From 18th to 21st of October , the People's Deputy Valeriy Pysarenko participates in the 7th International Forum on Sustainable Energy of UN Economic Commission for Europe, which was opened in the capital city of Azerbaijan.
More than 400 officials, international experts, representatives of the financial and business sector, researchers, scientists and community leaders from 70 countries arrived to Baku for a discussion of global development trends of green technologies.
For the first time outside Geneva, within the framework of the Forum, there will be a regular session of the Group of Experts on Energy Efficiency. Delegates will discuss energy efficiency in industry.
The Forum will provide an opportunity for countries to share their experience of attracting investments for projects on alternative energy as well as to consider prospects for cooperation.
Forum participants will try to agree on joint efforts which will further contribute to early transfer to the use of safe energy sources and implementation of "smart" systems of managing the energy sector of the economy.
The document with suggestions will be presented for adoption at the 8th Forum on Sustainable Energy, to be held in June 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan.
