Member of Ukrainian Parliament Valeriy Pysarenko requires not allow the transformation of art schools to amateur clubs and keep the initial professional art education. The relevant statement was sent to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman.
The politician responded to public outcry, caused by the proposals of Ministry of Culture for the further operation of art schools, as according to his point of view, the reform of aesthetic education should reflect both the circle of experts on the subject (-teachers, musicians, educational specialists, psychologists) and within the framework of social dialogue, which will involve parents, their children and just all who care about the fate of Ukrainian culture.
Secondly, according to Pysarenko`s words, converting the existing educational system to "common artistic training", namely the transformation of art school into the circle - replace children art school systems outside educational institutions. And as a result, teaching staff will lose their status of "teacher", right for 56 days holiday and the existing level of wages.
So, Valeriy Pysarenko asks the Government to make reforming the education and cultural fields without destroying the basic institutions of academic direction and prevent deterioration of social security and remuneration of teachers.
