Valeriy Pysarenko asks the Cabinet to include "Chemistry" in the specialties with increased scholarship

Include "Chemistry" in the List of specialties for which increased academic scholarships are established. With this request, the People's Deputy of Ukraine Valeriy Pysarenko appealed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman.

"Today, the size of the scholarships in higher education institutions is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Decree №1047 dated December 28, 2016. In addition, students who study in the most top-priority specialties for the development of science and industry of Ukraine have the right to receive academic scholarships in an increased amount. However, unfortunately, among these specialties "Chemistry" is absent,"- is about in the Deputy`s appeal.

According to Valeriy Pysarenko`s words, his attention to the issue of encouraging entrants to admission to the chemical faculties of Ukrainian universities was noticed by the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students, PhD students and doctoral students of V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University.

"Today, there is not a single sphere of life in the country that does not have any relation to the products of chemical production: everyday life, medicine, metallurgy, oil and gas production, etc. On this basis, there is no doubt that the preparation of students-chemists also needs State support," - the students explained the problem.

Valeriy Pysarenko supported the student potential and emphasized in his appeal to the Cabinet that "the majority of highly qualified specialists-chemists leave the country in search of a decent salary. Therefore, the appropriate support of students will contribute to the development of the chemical industry as well as to the development of the country's economy as a whole. "
