The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine supported the initiative of the Member of Ukrainian Parliament Valeriy Pysarenko regarding the inclusion of the specialty "Chemistry" in the list of specialties of increased academic scholarships.
According to the reply of the Ministry of Education to Parliamentarian appeal, the relevant amendments will be made to the resolution of Cabinet of Ministers № 1047 dated December 28, 2016 and will become the basis for increased scholarships payment.
Let`s remind that Primary Trade Union Organization of students and graduates of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University turned Valeriy Pysarenko`s attention on the issue of encouraging applicants entering the chemical faculties of Ukrainian Universities.
"Today, there is not a single sphere of life in the country that does not have any relation to the products of chemical production: everyday life, medicine, metallurgy, oil and gas production, etc. On this basis, there is no doubt that the preparation of students-chemists also needs State support," - the students explained the problem.
Valeriy Pysarenko supported the student potential and emphasized in his appeal to the Cabinet that "the majority of highly qualified specialists-chemists leave the country in search of a decent salary. Therefore, the appropriate support of students will contribute to the development of the chemical industry as well as to the development of the country's economy as a whole. "
