Valeriy Pysarenko met with Peter Vanhut, consultant to the Working Group of "Dialogues Jean Monnet"

Today, April 18, a meeting of the Member of Ukrainian Parliament Valeriy Pysarenko with Mr. Peter Vanhut, the international consultant of the Working Group, created within the framework of the "Jean Monet Dialogue" program, was held.

The main theme of the working conversation was the reform of the work of the Ukrainian Parliament.

"They talked about the reform of the Parliament's work, about the existence and rights of the opposition, about the balance of interests of various factions, groups and majorities," Valeriy Pysarenko said.

The politician also added that he told Mr. Vanhut about the amendments that were registered by his team in the Draft Law on changes in the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada. According to Mr. Pysarenko words, it was an attempt to consolidate the rights of people's deputies who were not part of the factions and groups.

As it is known, the purpose of the EU program "Dialogue of Jean Monet" is to increase the institutional capacity of the Ukrainian Parliament and its reform.

Within the framework of the "Dialogues" in Ukraine, the Working Group is working and Mr. Vanhut is consultant on mediation issues.
