A medical subvention in the amount of 270 million UAH for the rendering of primary healthcare to the population of Kharkiv is requested by Member of Ukrainian Parliament Valeriy Pysarenko to provide in the State Budget - 2018.
This initiative is related to the fact that the financing of the healthcare sector in the State Budget provides only for the rendering of secondary, tertiary and emergency healthcare to the population.
Expenses for primary healthcare, on the proposal of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, within the framework of health system reform, are allocated to a separate budget program "Provision of primary healthcare to the population".
According to Valeriy Pysarenko`s opinion, carrying out such a distribution is premature, because medical reform is not adopted
"It could lead to underfunding of public health facilities which provide primary health care in 2018. In Kharkiv, for example, it is about 270 million UAH," - the Parliamentarian specified.
